  • Condition: very good with some age patina, wear, some leather loss spots and snake of scabbard. Handle wiggles slightly, some light scattered pitting.

    Description

    Beautiful vintage Sudanese Arm Dagger measuring 13-3/4" overall with a blade length of 9". Dagger blade with ridge in center of both ends and with both sides of blade end sharp. sharp, beautiful etched blade on both sides. The wood handle shows a slight wiggle, and is wrapped in wire in select areas, one strand of the wire has loosened as can be seen in photos.  The flared guard shows a lighter shade on the corner, but is one piece and not a repair.  The scabbard is quite beautiful, it is all leather, hardened yet not overly hard, some of the leather shows some surface spot loss on the top edge areas.  The throat and 3/4" of the front is wrapped with Snake skin with minimal loss.
