The story of these individual and rare daggers is as follows:
The award of Tsar Nicholas II with the prize of
St.Anna or St. George provides for each awarded officer to be given 100 gold rubles and he has the right to order an award-winning dagger from the masters who make melee weapons for the tsarist army and for merits to the fatherland.
Each officer decided for himself whether to invest the full amount of his reward or to leave a part for himself.
Sometimes, even when the dagger was stolen with precious stones, the officer paid a significant portion of the money himself.
In this way, each deserving officer decides for himself how to make and decorate his award dagger.

Steel blade with brass hilt and handle.
“St. Anna” sign and coat of arms of the Russian empire.
Leather covered scabbard with brass tips.
Cross guard with the words “ОКУНЬ” and dated 17.11.1915 on the other side.
Monogram of Nicholas II on top of a dagger.
