    Description

    A rare mid 19th century Spanish hunting dagger, broad spear pointed double edged 6½ inch
    blade with a central rib, traces of silver gilt with rose coloured gold and etched both sides with hunting scenes, one side showing a country gentleman and the other a hunter shooting a leopard, the ricasso marked FABcaed TOLEDO, silver cross-guard, stag-horn grip and gilded silver pommel, the leather scabbard with silver rose gold gilded top and bottom mounts etched with a foliage and rose design, the top mount with a suspension hook.2 areas of corrosion on one bottom mount. Overall 12 inches.
