    Description

    North Caucasian kindjal. Forged carbon steel, two piece wood handle with cone shape rivets as usual. . 12 inch blade, 1.25 wide, 3/16s stock. Sheath of heavy leather and very sound.Chape on end is rusted. 2 fullers on each side of blade. Decoration in each. Long needle point. Engraving on obverse side may be Islamic verse, but I don't know.  Some rust staining and two places where rust worked for a while, but not now. Reducing collection. Seems smaller, boy's size.  Nice blade.
