Some of the daggers I carry like this one are to recreate appearances only and have a factory edge (unsharpened). They make great decorative pieces, as well as solid costume weapons when realism is important but lethality is less-desired :)
With red Templar cross emblazoned on pommel, this attractive Medieval dagger is a tribute to the legend of the Knights Templar.

First formed as "THE POOR KNIGHTS OF CHRIST" to guard the passage of Pilgrims along the route to the Holy Land. After the fall of Jerusalem to Christen forces in the First Crusade the name was soon shortened to simply ‘THE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR’. These legendary Knights were known as fierce fighters and the Order grew into a powerful force across all of Europe. Popular themes associate them with the Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant and the supposed historical connection to the Freemasons.

Nice design and quality at this price with excellent detail in metal casting of cross-guard & pommel as well as throat & chape of scabbard. These daggers are popular at Renaissance Fairs and complement a myriad of costumes. I finally decided I'd list some on eBay as well as a more affordable option to some of my high end historical daggers. I take the photos and measurements myself and add details to give you an idea of what the items are really like. I'm a collector and a weekend warrior, active in local groups and fairs so I get lots of feedback.
