A Massive and Monumental 18th/19th Century Indian Executioner’s Tulwar (Sword of Justice). The extremely heavy 37 inch blade is 2 and 5/8th inches wide at hilt. Blade is etched throughout its length with elaborate Islamic calligraphy. Classic tulwar hilt completely clad in heavy silver with relief florals and strap work. Disk pommel inset with sunburst decoration. One of the most impressive tulwars we have ever cataloged. Inventory 448: Price: 2250.
