fabulous vintage OPAL & STERLING SILVER LOBSTER PIN/PENDANT brooch crayfish

: super fun pin/pendant found in local estate of jewelry collector (exact age/history unknown) of a lobster (or a crawfish for you Louisiana residents!)

very detailed, all stones present, tarnished (I see old silver polish in crevices, but has not been polished in a long time. Some folks prefer patina..
Most vintage jewelry pieces need cleaning or polishing...I never "monkey with" vintage items, leaving that up to new owners....both product choice and what to do! I recommend only wiping with a light polishing cloth. Please NEVER dip jewelry!)
The pin is longer than usual underneath, and slightly harder to manipulate for that reason, so easier to put on or take off  when not wearing the clothing. Also has a bail for use as a pendant. This is such a marvelous piece!
