DESCRIPTION
There are many stories, sources and opinions about the existence and history of the Plastun Knife. One of them is that this knife had a place to be and was a Reward Weapon, which was awarded to the Fighters of the Plastun detachments. This type of weapon was not registered on the official authorized armament and was produced piece by piece at the Tsar's arms factory in Zlatoust. In view of the relatively small number of released samples, it is almost impossible to find a reliable original of this knife in our time.
Based on archival documents and with the participation of an army specialist in the development and acceptance of military weapons, the master gunsmiths of the Don Weapons Factory recreated this magnificent weapon!
The knife has a large margin of safety of all elements! The handle of the knife has a "Checker" structure (all parts are strung on the shank of the blade and tightened with a nut).
The knife is able to carry quite high loads. Universal in use. Suitable for both rough work and as a convenient cutting tool.
The knife has a perfect balance of 50/50 (the center of gravity is located on the guard of the handle). Suitable for throwing (not for training)!
Blade: forged from high-quality corrosion-resistant steel, hardened. With one narrow dale. The edge of the blade is sharpened, along the upper part of the blade there is a false blade. The blade is marked with a traditional pattern, by etching on steel.
Handle: the shank of the blade is solid-forged, passes through the entire handle, is tightened from the outside with a nut and closed with a brass plug. The handle consists of two solid brass parts decorated with traditional symbols and a wooden handle covered with mastic and varnish.
Scabbard: carved from solid birch, covered with natural patent leather. The brass device of the scabbard consists of a mouth and a tip with arcs for attaching the suspension.
Suspension: made by hand by the masters of the Don Craft Factory from genuine leather. It has a set of straps for attaching to the waist and lower leg.
Case: made of eco-leather. Protects the product from dust and moisture. Convenient for storage and transportation. It helps to avoid panic among people and the sidelong glances of the police on the street.
Certificate: the knife is certified as a cutting and skinning, household, is not a cold weapon because there is no guard on the handle.
