Ceremonial Jambiya

Description

Antique Wahabite Jambiya ceremonial dagger probably from southern Saudi Arabia or Yemen.
Sheath and handle are both of silver and highly ornate.
Chased silver patterning and wire used in the decoration of the sheath and handle.
Probably of late 19th century fabrication.
Reverse of the sheath shows some wear from use.  Sheath lining is of wood.
Blade shows some light oxidation but no damage, minor decoration on the blade.
