    Please see the photos as the best source of description. I understand that this was brought back to the USA from the near east somewhere (Iran was mentioned as a possibility) by a missionary who was selling it to help his cause in that country.
    I bought 20 years ago but have not done anything with it up to now.
    To give you an idea of size it is 18” from the end of the handle to the curved tip of the case.
    The decorative parts seem to be aluminum, the handle is a hard wood and the blade is carbon steel.
    The blade has no developed edge to it. Signs of hand working all of the details of manufacture can be seen upon close inspection.
