WWII Model 1929 Bulgaria Bulgarian Dagger Pilot/Flyer Ersatz Version. This is an aluminum casting which perfectly matches the regular issue dagger. It is a SOLID piece-it does NOT remove from scabbard - it is all one piece. Some say this is an ersatz version of late war; others say it is a flying cadet dagger before the wings were awarded. See 3rd pic below of this specific item on Bulgarian dagger book(printed in Bulgaria). Surface colors are black and gold. Few of these are listed and we think rarer than the regular version of the aviator dagger. As always-please study photos carefully- . postage.
