Big Omani Khanjar Arabic dagger Jambiya silver mounts embroidery fine quality

Description

I offer this Khanjar, the traditional dagger of the Sultanate of Oman. This piece has a handle made of buffalo horn and which is decorated with silver inlays. The scabbard is covered with red velvet on the backside. The frontside of the scabbard and the handle are decorated with outstanding fine silver mounts which are decorated with hand chiseled ornaments. Additionally the scabbard is decorated with a fine silver embroidery. The blade has a midrib and is made of steel. An authentic and very decorative example of Arabic craftmanship.
