    Description

This is an 19th century Naval sword cane handle and double edged blade minus the scabbard. This dagger is 19” in overall length with an 8.75” pointed blade. This is a very robust stout example with a very dark patina of all surfaces. The handle is wood with two iron collars and a brass disk at its’ end. The collar near the blade can be removed. Inside, formed lead is holding the blade in place. This unusual example is very robust-strong and is in fine antique condition. There is a slight crack in the wooden handle, and a bend at the tip of the blade, as pictured. The item appears to be 18th century
