This is a beautiful Yemenite Omani Khanjar Dagger with it's Sheath and Belt.  This is a very ornate and beautiful piece! The sheath has leather on the back.  The dagger is hand-forged and has a rhinoceros handle embellished with Silver filigree.  Both Filigree and Blade have been tested and indicate that both are silver.  However, the blade may be Silver Plated since I detect a very small section (5mm) of the blade that is peeling off the main metal.   The blade is still very sharp and has a specific pattern etched into the top of the blade.  Possibly and makers mark.  The knife measures 12" long, 2 3/4" wide.  Belt measures- 39" long, 2 3/4" wide.  There are signs of wear and minor imperfections which are pictured. It's an amazing piece to add to any collection.
