Vintage Beige's wear layer is constructed from 4-millimeter solid oak hardwood and its core is comprised of a two to nine-layer plywood. All of these layers combined to result in a 5/8"(16mm) total plank thickness. Each box of Vintage Beige contains 37.16 square feet of engineered hardwood. The total width of each and every plank is 10-1/4". The total length of the boards in each box is randomly starting at 2 feet all the way up to 7 feet and 3 inches. Most of the planks per box will be 7 feet and 3 inches long. Wire brushed floors offer a subtle texture to the surface feel while maintaining a soft and smooth appearance. Wire bristles are used to remove the softer grain within the wood, thus, accentuating the harder grain and creating a beautifully textured surface with added character. Directly after wire brushing, we apply an Oil Finish for added protection. Constructed from layers of plywood, topped by a solid EuropeanOak veneer, our floors have become extremely popular and the preferred choice by homeowners and contractors nationwide.
