.45 CAL. LONG, COWBOY WESTERN FAST DRAW RELOADING TOOL / FIXTURE

I made one of these for a friend, and thought maybe someone else may also want one, or more.   If your into Fast Draw, or Quick Draw, then this makes sense to you. it is for .45 cal long, pistol cartridges, and wax bullets.......This fixture is for holding the cartridge while drilling for the new primer. It can be assembled for right or left hand clamping by flipping the top plate over.   Align with alignment tool in drill chuck, clamp in position on drill press, add "screw machine" length drill bit (shorter length for better hole), clamp cartridge to keep from spinning while drilling,(with Allen wrench) and drill, then counter bore, as necessary.   Slide spacer plate under hole, and drop bullet in, then press the cartridge down with the alignment tool to assemble. (leave motor off for assembly)........Fixture is on a 1/2" aluminum plate, which could be drilled with mounting holes to mount on drill press table........  Allen wrench, alignment tool, and spacer plate for pressing the bullet into the cartridge are included ........cartridge, wax bullets, and drill press are NOT included.....I Highly recommend watching U Tube video "Modifying a twist drill for drilling brass"...........
