The coin is dedicated to an important event in the world of sports life - the Winter Olympic Games, which will be held from 9 to 25 February 2018 in the South Korean city of Pyeongchang. International competitions are held under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee within the framework of the Olympic movement.
Obverse: a stylized torch in the form of a Roman figure XXIII with colored fire - one of the symbols of the Olympic Games to the left - a small State Emblem of Ukraine, over which the inscription UKRAINE and the year of coinage - 2018; right on the background of stylized snowflakes is reflected the face value - 2 / ГРИВНІ.
