19th Century Ceremonial Dagger. Possibly theatrical or decorative dagger measuring 13" L overall with 9 1/2" blade with rounded edge point. Sheath tip is from Civil War era, Civil War Bayonet. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Maine. CONDITION: Brass pommel and "C" shaped cross-guard of light mustard patina. Blade is grey. Scabbard is missing throat and utilized heavily eroded brass circa 1860 Springfield bayonet tip. Sold as is as found and described from a recent James D. Julia's Inc. Auction, Fairfield Mine. No returns.
