This 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver.

My father-in-law decided that after 15+ years it was time to both upgrade and downsize. He asked me to help him list it, as he is not the most tech savvy person. I have done most of the repairs and maintenance over the last 8 years so I am very familiar with the vehicle. As stated in the vehicle description the transmission is failing. The transmission rebuild kit runs about 0. This would be a great work truck, project vehicle for a tech student or a good candidate for a Frankenstein if you happen to have the same truck that has been wrecked or has a blown engine. He just doesn't have the time to deal with it.
Vehicle Details
Battery replaced last summer. Engine runs great. The transmission needs to be rebuilt or replaced, it has lost reverse. But considering it has almost 300,000 mi and has never needed any major transmission work apart from regular maintenance, so all thing considered that not too bad. Brakes have less than 10,000 mi on them. Front end (ball joints, tie rods, and shocks) rebuilt @ 250k mi. Both front wheel bearing hubs replaced shortly after, approx 260k mi. Alternator replaced in 2017. A/C system completely replaced in 2018, new pump, evaporator, receiver dryer, hoses and condenser. All fluids serviced at standard service schedule, amsoil or royal purple (depending on availability) have been used consistently.

Some cosmetic dings, dents and chips but nothing serious.
Interior
Stereo works well, door speakers upgraded to aftermarket a few years ago. A/C blows very cold.
